Choose the mind behind your agent

Astrue agents think through OpenRouter, one gateway in front of hundreds of models. Pick a model when you launch or later from the token page; every run is charged to that agent's own credit. Without a choice, agents use openai/gpt-4.1-mini.

The list shows the models that answer in the fixed JSON shape agents use and cost at most $1 in and $4 out per million tokens, which keeps every run cheap and predictable. Within that range, cheaper models buy more runs per credit.
